We're a friendly, family village pub on the Polden Hills in the heart of Somerset offering great home cooked food and some top notch real ales, (featured in CAMRA Good Beer Guide), cider and fine wines. We are participating in the CAMRA DISCOUNT SCHEME for REAL ALES. We have an open fire, garden at the back of the pub and a car park. We are ideally located for those who enjoy walking, cycling, birds, fishing, etc and are only about 10 minutes from the M5. We look forward to seeing you.

SUNDAY LUNCH
Traditional plated roast dinner is freshly cooked on the day utilising a choice of local meats including roast beef & home made yorkshire pudding and roast pork with apple sauce and roast gammon with parsley sauce (£7.45). Lamb shanks (£9.95) in minted gravy may also be available. All are accompanied by roast potatoes, gravy and a wide selection of vegetables. Childrens portion £4.50. There are also two vegetarian choices available and an extensive dessert menu where desserts cost £4.45 accompanied by a choice of custard, cream or ice cream. Children's battered chicken nuggets, sausages & fish fingers with chips also available. Also hot meat sandwiches available £4.50.

If there is anything that we do not currently provide or a special meal or food you would like please ask. Also we can cater for most special dietary requirements and have previouly adapted meals on the menu for laxtose intolerant, gluten free, low fat, Atkins diet, etc. Please mention at the time of making your booking.
