Fire at the Ring O' Bells 2009 |

We experienced a roof fire on Sunday 14th June 2009. Fortunately no one was hurt but there was considerable fire damage to roof and water damage to two bedrooms, hall, stairs and the lounge bar. The photos show the damage and then the various stages of work afterwards.
The lounge bar floor had to be dug up, upholstery had to be refurbished and everywhere redecorated.
July 2009 only four weeks since it happened and the lounge bar is back in use. The public bar even got a fresh coat of paint.
17th July 2009 and we are back open as normal. Come and see the refurbished, redecorated pub.
August 2009 and upstairs is completed including our daughter's bedroom, playroom, ensuite bedroom, stairs and hall way.
